Quaint old fashioned bar and restaurant. The service is great and the food is awesome. Especially the pot pies and pizza.They carry a wide selection of liquor and beer. Some weekends they have live music. Don't pass this place.

Great local spot with a steady post ski, hike, snowmobile, etc crowd. Our family goes here or gets take out almost everytime we are in the area. Pizza, burgers and pot pies don't disappoint. Friendly staff too.

I absolutely love this place. We stop here any time we are anywhere near the area- sometimes driving 30+ miles out of the way to get there. Unassuming bar and restaurant with friendly people and seriously amazing food! I have never been disappointed!

Fun stop. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked great. We had the veggie pot pie which was a little spicy but full of flavor.

My favorite place to eat in South Park. Excellent service the staff rocks. All good is made in house, everything I order is amazing. I highly recommend getting specials too!

Terrible. No menu for people with gluten intolerance. Since there was nothing I could really pick , I shared a portion of fish tacos with my husband. There were 4 double corn tortillas, but my taco was pretty much empty and had not even one piece of fish in it. The waiter pretty much ignored me every time I tried to talk to him. This was not the first time it happened to me over there, and I am not a picky client. It was very noisy and could not even talk with the people we went to share dinner with. I didn't put one star, just because our friends really liked their meal. I do not recommend this place or will go back in a long time. A restaurant can't afford both, very plain food and not very friendly waiters.

Pretty good food. It was busy, so service was slow, but we enjoyed the experience.

A delightful surprise. Really good food (especially the pizza), strong drinks, local beer, and great service. I will definitely be coming back. Only drawback is bad music, but it is a saloon after all.

Advertised as the highest saloon in Colorado, this local watering hole serves up pizza and other pub fare along local brews and live music. It appears to one of, if not the sole dining option in the town of Alma. Food is better than you would expect to find in a tiny mountain town, but it's not uncommon them to be running out of menu items on a busy night. Service can be a bit abrupt when the crowds pick up.

A Town stopping at shop bars to Old Time town a museum and a lake and stream to fish.And pan for gold in the Stream obtain a $10 permit at one of the stores though

Quaint little bar - "the highest Saloon in the USA." They've got a couple micro brews and a couple domestic beers and food! Didn't eat there but the food looked great

Mysteriously lost my debit card, went back looking for it. The waitress avoided eye contact and became flighty. Typical tourist trap town in Colorado on the road to ruin like Aspen.

Skip if you can. Very limited food options and the quality leaves a lot to be desired (want to know how to mess up french fries? Another then in black pepper). Decently busy, mostly because there are little other choices in the area.

Incredible food. I mean really, really good food. I was blown away by how a small restaurant/bar in a tiny rural town could make such delicious food for such reasonable prices. Two friends and I ordered a a basket of fries, the bacon macaroni and cheese, and we each got one of three pot pies they offer (chicken, beef, and spicy curry veggie). All of them were phenomenal. I'll definitely be stopping here again if I'm ever in the area.

Good cheese steak sandwich. Suggest getting au jus for extra fifty cents. It favor packed. We went around 5pm and there was not a wait. It was busy and noisy. Fast and friendly service. Food was delivered fast and hot.

Been coming to Alma for Thanksgiving for the last 2 years and always stop here for great food and nice cold beer. Food is amazing and so is the staff. Definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

If I call this place rustic contemporary and you picture a sports bar for gold miners, then we understand each other. Great selection of local beers on tap. Crowded and noisy for supper with the after work crowd. Kids were entertaining themselves while their parents lingered at tables. The pizza is really good, with thin crust on bottom and a thicker roll around the edges. Not fast food, so plan to stay a while, and divide up larger parties if you want to get seated and be able to hear each other when it's crowded.

Everything is pretty good. Pizza cooked hot. Service is good.

The highest Bar in the United States at over 10,000 ft. Good choices of local brews and the food is quite good. Serves are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back if we pass thru Alma CO again. The Crab cakes are very good and the French fries are very tasty. The decor is definitely Colorado high mountains. Place is small but full of character.

Outstanding food. I had the fish tacos last week and they were out of this world. Perfect amount of spice/heat and the fish was fresh. I had the veggie pot pie in the past, and it was delicious (I'm not a vegetarian either). Great friendly staff too. Go here for elevated bar food with a down home vibe. Just a great place.

Great service at the bar, great food... Even helped me get a ride because my truck broke down.

It was extremely good. The wait was a bit much, but the food more than made up for it. Maybe a larger dish for the Au Jus with the Cheesesteak though.
